Belleville Volleyball Wins over Brodhead; Loses to Wisconsin Heights

The Belleville volleyball team beat Brodhead, 3-1, in a WIAA Regional Playoff game on October 20th. The set scores were 25-23; 25-17; 24-26; 25-16.
Grace Schulting had eight kills, three aces and 18 digs. Sydney Gentilli had 15 digs and two aces. Samantha Trainor had 18 assists, while Allison Kowalski had 17 assists. Krista Diaz had 20 kills, Rachael Heittola had five blocks and Lucy Grady had two aces.
The Wildcats’ hopes for state were dashed by Wisconsin Heights on Saturday, October 22nd. The Vanguards beat them, 3-0. No further information about the game was available at press time.
