Belleville played at Marshall on Friday, October 14th, losing to the host team, 19-40.

Marshall began the scoring in the first quarter, but were unsuccessful with their two-point conversion. Cade Martin ran the ball for 41 yards to score for the Wildcats, and Cody McMillian's extra point was good. Marshall scored two more touchdowns in the second quarter. Belleville's Dan Meier passed to Cade Martin for a 65-yard gain and the Wildcats' second touchdown of the game. At the end of the first half, Belleville trailed by just 8 points.
