Swim Team Keeps Setting New Records

 


In the meet against Oregon/Belleville on Tuesday, October 4th, the Monroe/New Glarus Swim Team set 18 individual PRs.

“The scoreboard showed a loss, but it was a win for the girls in their last home meet of the season celebrating their parents and all of their support!” said Linda Moser. The Varsity team scored 70 to Oregon/Belleville’s 97 points, and the Monroe/New Glarus JV team won over Oregon/Belleville, 60-36.

Nina Schiro placed first in both of her events. In the 200-Meter IM, she finished with a time of 2:42.91, and in the 400-Meter Free, she finished with a time of 5:04.38...
