Sugar River Two for Three Last Week
Sugar River hosted Columbus on October 4th and won, 4-0.
Connor DeLorme kicked the first goal for Sugar River. DeLorme then assisted Jack Gentilli with his goal.
In the second half, Alex Betthauser, assisted by Brock Kelly, scored a goal, and less than ten minutes later, Kelly was assisted by Betthauser for a goal of his own.
Cole Myers had three saves at goal keeper.
On Thursday, Sugar River traveled to Lake Mills and won that game, 3-1.
Jaden Kreklow, assisted by Otto Anson, scored the first goal for Sugar River. Four minutes later, Brock Kelly, assisted by Jared Widish, scored the second goal for the team.
In the second half, Eziekel Noriega, assisted by Charlie Douma, scored the third goal at the 80th minute.
Lake Mills lone goal was scored in the 89th minute of the game.
Cole Myers had six saves as goal keeper.
On Saturday, Sugar River played against Platteville/Lancaster and lost, 0-1. Goal keeper Myers had four saves during the game.
Sugar River is still in first place of the Capitol-South and have a 7-0 conference record. They played in Watertown on Tuesday, and on Thursday will play Madison Country Day in their last regular season game of the year.
