With a three-point lead after being down 11 at half, the Wildcats stood tall to seal the victory.  In the final minute of the game, a determined defense held the Blue Jays at the two-yard line. A BIG win on Homecoming and Senior Night!

"Led by senior Offensive Lineman Tony O'Connor and Cash Hoffman, we were able to establish our run game early in the second half. Cade Martin, another senior, made huge plays in the air and on the ground, breaking countless tackles and giving us a much needed lift on a 3rd and long backed up against our own end zone," continued Ritter. "Quarterback Dan Meier made crucial throws that led to big touchdowns. Ty Varney stepped up for the team on Special Teams and every senior played a critical role in this victory."

Junior Cody McMillian caught a 32-yard pass from Meier and scored in the third quarter to bring the score within three with the successful two-point conversion.

Cade Martin scored in the fourth to bring the Wildcats ahead by three, on a 5-yard run.

QB Dan Meier passed for 166 total yards for two touchdowns. Cade Martin rushed for 121 yards, and had 74 yards receiving. Cody McMillian had 32 receiving yards, while Bryce Neild and Drew Shrader had 30 yards receiving each.

"This was an amazing game, battling to stay in the hunt for the playoffs," finished Ritter.
