Dear Editor,

We thank all those involved in the successful conclusion of our September Red Cross Blood Drive, including St. Mary’s of Lourdes Church, the Post Messenger Recorder, Culver’s of New Glarus (who provided “pint for pint” coupons for the donors), high school students in J.P. Pamperin’s health class, the Belleville Public Works Department, the volunteers, and especially the donors.

Several donors reached new goals. Nancy Dorl arrived at the ten-gallon mark. Others with new totals were Joe Lacy, two gallons; Linda Garwell, Bob Sarbacker, and Wayne Hammerstrom, one gallon.

In this drive individuals who were donating for the first time were recognized. Included in this group were Steve Rohde, Erica Koeppel, Jadeh Kieler, Andrew Samon, Sky Grulke, Eric Shrader, Amber Sies, Lukas Freidig, Corey Brozyna, and Wayne Kieler.

Other donors include Marie Wonders, Georgiann McDonald, Mike O’Connor, Karen Gmur, Linda Sies, Sam Christen, Marie Venden, Keith Beutel, Juanita Harbort, Lavon Olson, Jeanine Mabis, Thomas P. O’Connor, Denny Meyer Sr., Mark Koeppel, Delores Butler, Tom Schroeder, Bruce Weber, Jaden Kieler, Tracy Funseth, Joyce Garwell, Tori Smith, Joleen Elsing, Kim Sies, Scott Babler, Brad Halvensleben, Jerry Butts, Rick Francois, Dianne Donlin, Kristina Sherman, Rick Sies, Steven Johnson, Marla Kieler, Christine Belle, and Dawn Johnson.
