Knights Win Big Game Against Marshall

John Chenoweth recorded two interceptions for the Knights.

In the game against Marshall on Friday night, the New Glarus-Monticello Knights beat a team who, traditionally, has been the best team in the league. The final score was NGM 42, Marshall 6.

Tanner Jelle ran 17 yards to score the first touchdown for the Knights in the first quarter, and the extra point attempt by Trent Sigafus was successful. Sophomore Zach Feller scored the next six points on a 35-yard run, and the extra point was kicked by Sigafus. Feller scored again early in the second quarter, on a 16-yard run, and Sigafus again kicked the extra point. Marshall's Adam Wehking scored...
