Culver’s of New Glarus will team up with the Sugar River Quilts of Valor to raise money to aide our quilters in sewing quilts for our local veterans.

Please come out and support our efforts to award your veterans! We are working diligently towards completing over 60 quilts to be awarded around Veterans Day 2016. Quilting members of Sugar River Quilts are all volunteers. Each quilt costs approximately $250 to complete. The quilt’s value to the veteran is priceless!

A fundraiser has been set up on Wednesday, September 21st, from 5:00 p.m.– 8:00 p.m., at the New Glarus Culver’s to aide with the cost of our quilting efforts.

Tax deductible checks should be made out to Quilts of Valor Foundation, which is a 501 (3) c organization and mailed to Vicki Sasso, W5272 Windmill Ridge Rd, New Glarus, WI 53574. If you have any questions, call Vicki at (608) 527-4444. Any monetary donation to help cover the costs of fabric or batting is appreciated. Donations of quality fabric are also needed. Red, white and blue fabric is highly favored; however, any color is accepted as long as it is not feminine or metallic.
