The Fifth Annual Belleville Lakefest was held on Sunday, August 28, 2016. There was an abundance of free, family-friendly activities including canoe rides, t'ai chi, fur trade re-enactors, nature hikes, music, and a hands-on presentation by nature educator David Stokes and his live lake critters. There was also a display of artifacts by the Wisconsin Historical Society entitled "10,000 Years of History Along the Sugar River."
