Swiss Church Hosting Annual Kilby Supper

Saturday, September 24th

Mark your calendars! In tandem with the Oktoberfest celebration this year, Swiss Church will be hosting their annual 2016 Kilby Supper on Saturday, September 24th, with food served from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Dining will be at Swiss Church in Fellowship Hall. Carry outs will also be available again this year. Additionally, delivery service is also available for those unable to drive downtown to pick up your meals. Please contact the church office at (608) 527-2119 if you would like to make your reservation for a delivery.

New this year – we recognize that parking downtown can sometimes be a challenge on festival weekends. With this in mind, we will be offering a Shuttle Service between the New Glarus Home Chapel parking lot and the church. Guests are welcome to park at the New Glarus Home Chapel parking lot. Our drivers will drop you off at the church door, and then will take you back to your vehicle again when you have finished your dinner.

The Kilby Supper is a long-standing tradition of Swiss Church, and everyone is welcome! The Supper is a favorite of residents and visitors alike; it includes a traditional Swiss-style meal offering guests a host of specialties made from original recipes handed down for generations. This is the largest annual fundraising event for the Swiss Church.

The Kilby dinner includes Swiss Meatballs, Ham, Swiss Potatoes, Swiss Beans, Carrot Salad, Applesauce, Cheese and Swiss Bread. Dessert will feature more Swiss specialties like Braetzli, Pear Bread, Zuribieter, and Homemade Pies and Ice Cream. Milk and Coffee are included.

The supper is open to the public and tickets can be purchased in advance at the Church Office during normal business hours. We will also have a ticket sale tent at the church property the day of the event, or you can purchase your tickets at the door that evening. The cost is $12.00 per person (children under six eat free). Everyone is welcome. We hope you are able to join us!
