You Can't Train Too Much For a Job That Can Kill You

New Glarus Fire Department recently trained with a "doll house." The training examined fire behavior in a structural environment. This type of training helps them learn to predict fire development and to implement appropriate safety and fire control measures.

What's needed to know to be good firefighters? A question answered by the New Glarus Fire Department Training Committee, indicating that good firefighters never stop learning.

On Monday nights, three of the four meetings involve training and education. The past two Mondays involved familiarization of fire flow paths, or how fire moves throughout structures.
