The Monticello Sports Boosters, as well as the Monticello School Board, have come together in starting a community fitness center. The School Board has funded the project for the facility and the Sports Boosters are heading the fundraising efforts to get the equipment for the new fitness center. At Monticello we believe in living and teaching a healthy lifestyle to children of all ages. In an effort to reach all members of the community, we are opening the new fitness center to the community for public use once it is all finished.

The new weight equipment is going to cost a total of $57,000. We have been having fundraisers and have raised $9,500 so far towards the equipment. In order for the new fitness center to have all the equipment and be open to the public, we still need to raise $47,500. Any donation you can make will help in this effort to create a community fitness center.
