Open House Held at New Wisconsin Gene Transfer Station

On Wednesday. July 13, a ribbon cutting was held during the Open House for the new Wisconsin Gene Transfer Center on CTH W outside of Belleville. Cutting the ribbon was Dr. Ludwig Simmet, MOFA Global. Pictured left to right: Mark Schwoegler, President - Belleville Chamber of Commerce; Brett Bonwell, CEO - DNA Genetics; Henry Zach, Project Manager - Settje Agri-Services & Engineering, Inc.; Dr. Ludwig Simmet - MOFA Global; Dr. Jim Pillen, owner - Pillen Family Farms and DNA Genetics; and Christine Lade, Vice President - Belleville Chamber of Commerce.

On Wednesday, July 13, 2016, DNA Genetics welcomed visitors to the opening of Wisconsin Gene Transfer Center.

The new Wisconsin Gene Transfer Center will have a main barn with 472 spaces, as well as an isolation barn with 100 spaces. They plan to serve customers within a 250-mile radius with a full production capacity of 16,000 doses per week. Production is planned to begin in September.

The company hopes to play a key role in the economic development and quality of life of the Belleville community for many years to come.
