Longtime Monticello resident and businessman, John Stenbroten, celebrated his 90th birthday on July 12th. In celebration of the event, a party will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at Monticello Ford, from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. The Zweifel Brother's band will be performing.

Stenbroten began his career with Voegeli Chevrolet Buick in 1954, with his father-in-law, Leon Voegeli. Stenbroten also served as a trustee and Village of Monticello President for 37 years, as well as being a board member and President of the Bank of Monticello.
