Three New Glarus Cross Country Motorcycle Racers were recent winners at the Hixton Hare Scramble race on June 26, 2016.

The racers included Brock Lueschow, 1st in the 35cc (16 and under); Tyler Lueschow, 1st in class C open competitions; and Karl Lueschow, 1st in Class A 40+ competitions.

The Hare Scramble races represent a two-hour endurance race over a five-mile rough terrain course, including high speed jumping, hill climbing and a tight woods trail.

The races are sponsored by local Midwest motorcycle clubs to develop riding skills and encourage camaraderie among off-road cycle riders.
