Robert D. Snider, age 70 of Juda, died unexpectedly at Monroe Clinic Hospital on Saturday, June 18, 2016. He was born on December 25, 1945, in Madison, the son of Clifford and Eleanor (Sonsteby) Snider.

He attended New Glarus High School. Robert married Kathie J. Erickson on December 12, 1964. He was a dairy farmer his entire life, and was still helping area farmers. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, antique tractors and going to tractor shows and thresherees. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.

He is survived by three children, Michael (Nancy) Snider of Orangeville, IL, Amy Lipman of Loves Park, IL, and Brian (Michelle) Snider of Monroe; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Roger (Paula) Snider Sr. of Belleville; a sister, Carol Isely of Monroe.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, June 27, 2016, at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home, with Pastor David Busker officiating. A visitation will be Sunday, June 26, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
