Through generous donations from area families, the New Glarus Vision Summer Books 4 Kids program gave out over 2,000 books to Pre-K through Grade 4. That came out to at least four books per student to supplement their New Glarus Public Library Summer Reading program. Books in the home can greatly affect reading progress during the summer and throughout a child's life.
