Jack Link's Protein Snacks, a global leader in snacking, is excited to announce a $30,000 donation to the New Glarus School District. Jack Link's has a long-standing history of giving back to the local communities in which it operates. The donation demonstrates the company's strong roots in New Glarus and the surrounding communities.

"At Jack Link's, we're passionate about two things: making the best-tasting jerky on the planet and doing good by our teammates and the communities they work in," said Troy Link, President and CEO of Jack Link's. "Education is the foundation of a strong community and we're committed to continuing our support of the New Glarus School District and helping students fuel their pursuits."

This year's donation will be used for a new wireless network that will give students and faculty faster and more efficient internet access. Jack Link's representative Patrick Silva presented the check to the New Glarus School District on Thursday, May 26, at the New Glarus Elementary School Spring Concert. "We're very fortunate that Jack Link's is such a generous community partner, and is so supportive of our school district," said Jennifer Thayer, Superintendent, New Glarus School District. "Through Jack Link's ongoing support, we have been able to upgrade and improve our technology, giving our students and faculty the tools and access they need to thrive in today's digitally driven world."

Each year, Jack Link's hosts a local golf tournament in which team members, vendors, customers and supporters come together to raise funds in support of education. This latest contribution to New Glarus School District builds upon the Wisconsin-based company's long-standing tradition of corporate philanthropy. Over the past decade, Jack Link's charity golf tournaments have raised over $1 million in support of education in their hometown communities.
