The Raiders have played 20 games this season, and have three games remaining before post-season play begins. With a record of 16-2-2, and ranked third in the state, the Raiders scored 15 goals this week while holding opponents to only one goal.

In the first game of the week, the Raiders traveled to Lake Mills to take on Capital Conference opponent Lakeside Lutheran. From the beginning whistle, the Raiders looked comfortable and in control. Senior forward Brooke Larson took the opening kick and scored in the first 20 seconds. The Raiders wore down Lakeside Lutheran by dominating possession of the ball and precision in passing the ball up the field. Scoring two goals apiece for the Raiders were Brooke Larson, Vanessa Narveson and Esther Noriega. Adding a goal each were Kalin O'Rourke, Aimee Sies, Hannah Jones and Abbi Lahey. The game was called in the 77th minute as the Raiders were up by 10 goals. Final: Raiders 10, Lakeside Lutheran 0.

In the second game of the week, the Raiders hosted Capital Conference opponent Luther Prep. The Raiders scored three goals in the first half, with two of those goals scored by senior forward Vanessa Narveson, and one goal scored by junior midfielder Esther Noriega. The defense, consisting of Taylor Halvensleben, Hannah Jones, Abbi Lahey, Julia McNamar, Alex Nealis, Aimee Sies and goalie Madeline Bartels, held Luther Prep scoreless and recorded their 12th shutout of the season. Final: Raiders 3, Luther Prep 0.

In the final game of the week the Raiders traveled to Monroe, to take on the Cheesemakers in a game where the outcome could influence seeding for the post-season. It was an exciting, hard fought game. The Raiders opened the scoring when sophomore defender Aimee Sies planted a corner kick in the net. Monroe answered and tied the game on a Penalty Kick. In the second half, on another well-placed corner kick by Aimee Sies, senior forward Vanessa Narveson headed the ball into the net and pulled out a thrilling victory. Final: Raiders 2, Monroe 1.

The last game of the regular season will be held on Friday, May 27th, in Belleville. The JV game starts at 5:00 p.m., with the Varsity game to follow at 7:00 p.m.
