Hanson's Relay Team Qualifies for National Championship

Alexis Hanson, a 2013 New Glarus graduate, and her 4x4 track relay team qualified for the national championship meet on May 19, in La Crosse, WI, at the NCAA Last Chance Qualifiers Meet. They are entering the NCAA National meet on May 26th as the #6 seed in the country in DIII. Only the top 16 relays in the country qualify for the national meet. With a time of 3:48.27, they also broke the Loras College School record, which had held since the 90s.
Hanson was on the Cross Country, Basketball and Sugar River Track teams while attending New Glarus High School.
