Belleville Spring Clean Up Day Set
Belleville’s Spring Clean Up Day is set for Wednesday, May 18th. This is the time to place items that do not fit in your trash cart at the curb to dispose of them (see list of acceptable items below).
Please place these items neatly at your curbside next to your cart by 7:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 18th.

Acceptable Items for Curbside Pick-Up
The following household items placed on your curb will be picked up during the Spring Cleanup Program: Bed frames, Box springs, Charcoal grills and gas grills - no propane tanks, Dry carpets - Rolled and tied for one person to handle, Furniture items, Household trash items, Mattresses, Small lawn mowers or snow blowers - Gas and oil must be removed, Swing sets - Must be dismantled.
Items Not Accepted
The following items will not be picked up and should not be placed on your curb: 55-gallon drums, Appliances: Air conditioners, Dehumidifiers, Dishwashers, Dryers, Freezers, Microwaves, Refrigerators, Stoves/ovens, Washers, Water heaters, Water softeners, Building materials, Computers and computer monitors, Televisions, Concrete or dirt pieces, Household pesticides, Lead acid batteries, Oil tanks, Paints and thinners, Vehicle engine blocks, Vehicle tires, Yard Waste.
Recycling & Special Waste
How do I dispose of white goods? “White goods” are refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, freezers, air conditioners, dishwashers, central heating/cooling units, water heaters, etc.
Please make a list of the items you want to discard, including the type of material they are made out of and call Pellitteri at (608) 257-4285. They will give you instructions and schedule your pickup on the next available date. If you have large amounts of material to discard please visit their website or call them about temporary dumpster services.
All appliances must be placed at the curb in one piece, except DOORS should be removed for safety.
Is there a fee?
Yes, this fee must be paid to Pellitteri before the item will be picked up. Check with Pellitteri for fee information.
Electronic Goods Dumpster
The Village of Belleville now has a drop-off site for electronic goods that will later be picked up and disposed of correctly by Pelitteri Waste Systems. It is located at the Public Works Shed, 20 River Street, Belleville, WI. Drop-Off Times are Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Acceptable Electronic Materials*: Computers/CPUs (laptops, monitors, towers, tablets, etc.), Computer Accessories (mice, keyboards, speakers, etc.), Fax Machines, Photocopiers, DVD Players, VCRs, DVRs, Home and Office Phones, Cellphones, Consumer Electronics (electric alarm clocks, radios, etc.), Printers (including those that scan, copy, or fax, etc.), Keyboards, Televisions, Cameras, Stereos.
Unacceptable Materials*: Appliances (microwaves, stoves, refrigerators, dehumidifiers, etc.), Thermometers, Fire and Smoke Alarms and Detectors, Furniture.
