Finishing touches for the Chalet's roof were recently completed.  The rocks and logs were removed from the roof last fall when the roof was replaced.  At that time, the logs were found to be rotted and in need of replacement.  The Friends of the Chalet, working with Village Administration, were able to find a low cost source for replacement logs and were awarded grant monies from the New Glarus Community Foundation, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin.  This award, from the Dr. Fred W. and Alice J.
