Maire Smokes Competition

 


The Raiders track team hosted a quad on April 19th. Lakeside Lutheran, Wisconsin Heights and Poynette all participated.

In the 100-Meter Dash, Nick Smith finished in second with a time of 11.39. Coming in sixth was Dalton Fahey with a time of 11.74. Jared Schulting placed ninth with a time of 12.11.

Dalton Fahey placed second in the 200-Meter Dash, with a time of 23.96. Nick Schult placed fourth with a time of 25.50, and teammate Drew Pickett was right behind him in fifth place with a time of 25.58.

Coming in at third place for the Raiders in the 400-Meter Dash was Evan Reifert with a time of 57.20. Caden O’Rourke placed seventh with a time of 59.01, and Jacob Shrader placed ninth with a time of 1:03.11.

Tyler Gilbertson placed first in the 800-Meter Run, with a time of 2:06.99. In seventh place, with a time of 2:20.06, was Jordan Hosler.

In the boys 3200-Meter Run, Kyle Fredrickson placed fourth with a time of 11:04.93, while teammate Christian Arnett placed fifth with a time of 11:07.56.

Cole Myers placed third in the 110m Hurdles, with a time of 16.98. Myers also placed third in the 300m Hurdles, with a time of 44.54.

In the 4x100 Relay event, the team consisting of Milo Hoesly, Nick Schult, Jared Schulting and Mark Truttmann placed second in the event with a time of 49.03. The teams of Ben Bartow, Tony O’Connor, Skylar West and Landon Zimmerman (54.22) and Hayden Askey, Danny Enloe, Zach Gramse and Jacob Helbach (58.84) also ran this race.

The team of Lukas Diaz, Drew Pickett, Milo Hoesly and Nick Schult finished first in the 4x200 Relay event.

Taking first place in the 4x400 Relay was the team of Lukas Diaz, Dalton Fahey, Tyler Gilbertson and Jared Schulting, with a time of 3:42.21. The team of Joshua Bowers, Levi Dearth, Milo Hoesly and Evan Reifert (4:16.93) also ran in this event.

In the 4x800 Relay, the team of Christian Arnett, Justin Edge, Tyler Gilbertson and Caden O’Rourke took third with a time of 9:29.33. Also running in this event was the team of Joshua Bowers, Levi Dearth, Gary Salmela and Connor Theis (10:34.26).

Landon Zimmerman placed first in the Shot Put event, with a final of 48-06.00. Tony O’Connor placed second, with a final of 36-01.00. Coming in at fifth place was Ben Bartow with a final of 33-00.25.

Zimmerman (155-04) and O’Connor (109-04) also placed first and second in Discus. Danny Enloe placed seventh in the event, with a final of 83-01.

Placing fourth in the High Jump was Jacob Shrader, with a final of 5-02.00. Coming in at seventh in the event was Jared Schulting with a final of 5-00.00.

In Pole Vault, Nick Smith placed fourth with 8-00.00.

Dalton Fahey placed fifth in the Long Jump, with a final of 16-03.00. Lukas Diaz placed sixth with a final of 16-02.00. Eddie Fraire (14-03.00) also competed.

Coming in at fifth place in the Triple Jump was Lukas Diaz, with a final of 34-09.25. Drew Pickett placed sixth, with a final of 34-00.50. Taylor Funseth placed eighth with a final of 30-08.00.

Logan Fahey placed third in the girls 100-Meter Dash, with a time of 13.07. Placing fifth was Kiara Donnell, with a time of 13.39. Eliza Woods finished in ninth place with a time of 14.34.

In the 200-Meter Dash, Logan Fahey placed third with a time of 28.31. Madalena Macht placed fifth, with at time of 29.00.

The fourth place finisher in the 400-Meter Dash was Lauren O’Connor, with a time of 1:07.56.

Noelle Maire took second place in the 800-Meter Run with a time of 2:36.12. Placing eighth in the event was Gabbie Whisler with a time of 3:08.04.

Placing sixth in the 1600-Meter Run was Gabbie Whisler, with a time of 6:44.53. Jenna Molencamp placed eighth in the event, with a time of 7:04.07.

Noelle Maire placed first in the 3200-Meter Run, with a time of 11:26.89 – two full minutes ahead of her closest competitor.

Placing second in the 100m Hurdles was Krista Diaz with a final of 16.48. Diaz also took second in the 300m Hurdles, with a final of 50.29.

The 4x100 Relay team, consisting of Kiara Donnell, Logan Fahey, Jade Halvensleben and Kati Way took second place, with a time of 54.41.

In the 4x200 Relay, the team of Kiara Donnell, Jade Halvensleben, Grace Schulting and Madalena Macht placed second with a time of 1:58.26.

Placing second in the 4x400 Relay was the team of Rebecca Barr, Lauren O’Connor, Grace Schulting and Walela Three-Sticks, with a time of 4:54.54.

Cassie McMillan placed third in the Shot Put with a final of 26-10.00. Haley Reeson placed fourth with a final of 24-06.25. McMillan placed sixth in Discus with a final of 63-07, and Reeson placed eighth, with a final of 63-00.

Krista Diaz placed second in the High Jump, with a final of 4-08.00. Emily Flick placed eighth, with a final of 4-02.00.

In the girls Pole Vault event, Rebecca Barr placed third, with a final of 6-06.00.

In the Long Jump, Krista Diaz placed third with a final of 14-10.00. With a final of 14-02.00, Grace Schulting took fifth place. Madalena Macht’s final of 13-04.00 was good enough for an eighth place finish.

Placing fourth in the Triple Jump was Madalena Macht with a final of 30-00.00. Jade Halvensleben took fifth place with 29-05.50.

Coach Willy Johnson commented, “Despite the cruddy weather conditions for our meet, we got through it and did a nice job.  What’s nice about a team sport is that if an athlete isn’t having a great meet and doing as well as they expect to be doing, there are teammates that step up and help pick them up. Hopefully kids are taking advantage of only having one meet this week to rest up and gear up for our upcoming competitions.”
