Belleville Area Cares Coalition Presents a Community Gathering:
“No One Starts Out On Heroin”
The Belleville Area Cares Coalition, in collaboration with the Federal Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), will hold a community gathering called “No One Starts Out On Heroin” as part of Belleville’s Alcohol/Drug awareness initiative. The event will provide information on current trends on underage drinking and opioid abuse.
Speaking at the gathering will be Judith Reed, PhD; Behavior and Learning Specialist at Oconomowoc Area School District, President/CEO—TEAM REAL, and President of Commitment 2 Community, LLC, and Special Agent Brian Prieve and Special Agent Justin Gist from the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI). This department investigates in-state and multi-state narcotics investigations.
A panel discussion will immediately follow the presentations. Panelists will be announced at later date.
“No One Starts Out On Heroin” will be held at the Belleville High School Auditorium, 625 W. Church Street, on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
