Daily news accounts of mass shootings and violence in the workplace around the country has prompted action from the Dane County Sheriff’s Office to better prepare local citizens for such an incident.

Earlier this year, Sheriff Mahoney named Deputy Josalyn Longley as the Sheriff’s Office’s Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.
