In a busy week of soccer for the Raiders, the team posted two wins, one tie and one loss. The Raiders scored 15 goals, secured two shut-out victories and are starting to find their identity as a team.

In a game against DeForest, the Raiders played at a fast, intense pace and controlled the majority of the match. With precision in passing the ball up the field and relentless attacking, the Raiders had 14 shots on goal and limited DeForest to only five. Scoring for the Raiders were seniors Taylor Legler and Brooke Larson. The match resulted in a tie, with a score of 2-2.

In the first conference game of the season the Raiders traveled to Lodi. The two teams have competed for the Conference Title for the past several years, so the game promised to be full of intensity and hard fought play. Challenging field conditions, consisting of mud with only small patches of grass, made the game even more demanding with poor footing and mud puddles that interfered with passing the ball. By the conclusion of the game, players were literally covered in mud from head to toe. Unfortunately the Raiders, who outshot the Blue Devils 12 to 4, were unable to find the net despite a valiant effort. Final: Lodi 1, Raiders 0. Coach John Ziperski commented after the game, "As a team we definitely had a hard night but we plan to use that experience to catapult us into our next focus. Our goals have always been to focus on one game at a time. We have a lot of season ahead of us and need to not lose sight of our purpose and path."
