Habitat for Humanity says "Thank you Green County!"

Bobby Cassell, Manager of the Habitat for Humanity store, displaying donated articles in the Green County Habitat retail store.

Habitat for Humanity of Green County is very grateful for the very generous response to its recent 1st Annual Spring Donation drive.

Residents of Green County donated kitchen items, household appliances, tools, tables, chairs and gardening equipment. Shelving, vanities and toilets were among the most common donation. There were many small donations, such as light fixtures and small hand tools. Residents who had large items to donate had these items picked up without a charge by a Habitat for Humanity truck.

Habitat for Humanity is urging Green County residents to not only continue their generous donations but to purchase items from the store. With the increase in donated inventory, there are many items customers can choose from for their own use. Profit generated from sales at Habitat stores enable Habitat for Humanity to perform various projects for the area. These projects have helped many Green County residents receive help with home repairs, additions and constructions.

Habitat for Humanity of Green County's Resale Store is located at 1001 30th Street in Monroe, Wisconsin. The phone number is (608) 329-4024 and the email is Store@greencountyhabitat.com. The store is open on Thursdays from 1:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.; Fridays from 12:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.; and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
