The Monticello Ponies baseball team played Evansville on March 29th. Evansville won the game, 24-0, with 12 hits to Monticello's two hits.

"14 free passes in the 4th and 5th innings really opened the flood gates for them," said Coach White.

Pitcher Billy Spahr managed one strikeout during the game.

The Ponies stay at their home field for their next two games. They play Albany on April 11th and Cassville on April 15th.
