The Sugar River and Monticello track teams traveled on Saturday, March 19, 2016, to participate at the Tri-State Small School Invitational held at the Williams Fieldhouse on the UW-Platteville campus.

Logan Fahey and Jade Halvensleben, Sugar River, and Courtney Kammes, Emilie Gieztel and Karlene Walters, Monticello, all participated in the preliminaries for the Girls 55-Meter Dash. Fahey took first in the prelims, with a time of 7.81. Halvensleben finished at 8.29, Kammes finished at 8.54, Gietzel finished at 8.85 and Walters finished at 9.41.
