Green County Veterans Memorial Park Board Members recently received a $10,000 check From Colony Brands. Colony Brands pledged this amount to the Park, and the check was presented once the total amount was raised to purchase the Helicopter. A dinner, dance and auction will be held on Saturday April 2, 2016, at Turner Hall in Monroe. Dinner is at 5:00 p.m., with dance starting at 6:00 p.m.
The menu will include Roast Pork and Chicken, Potato, Vegetable, Salad, Rolls and Dessert.
The cost is $40.00 for both the dinner and dance. The Zweifel Brothers Band will play beginning at 6:00 p.m.
A live and silent auction will be held throughout the evening. Items in the auction are a Green Bay Packer football, University of Wisconsin football tickets, bath and garden baskets, and restaurant gift certificates, to name a few.
