Thanks to CPR training, school nurse Wendy Fahey and District Staff members saved the life of a parent.
Do you know what you would do in a life or death situation?
Last fall, several Belleville School district staff members relied on their CPR training and worked as a team to save a parent's life.
The parent came to the Intermediate School to drop something off for a student, left the office and then collapsed in the hallway. An observant student saw the parent lying on the floor and told the office staff.
Fortunately Wendy Fahey, the school nurse, was in the building and she checked for a pulse.
