The annual Polar Plunge was held on Saturday, February 13, in Madison.
The event, which has been held since 1999, has raised nearly $19 million for Special Olympics athletes.
New Glarus students and advisors have shown their support by participating in the event since 2007. This year's team raised $1,235!
Donations support the 17 different Olympic-type sports offered year-round, including National and World Games, as well as free health care screenings to ensure optimal health and performance during competition.
