Green County Piano Teachers Donate to Local Libraries

The Green County Piano teachers presented checks to five Green County libraries on Monday, February 8, 2016. The Green County Piano Teachers presented checks to each of the five Green County Libraries and the Monroe Arts Center – Children’s Art Gallery.
The money was earned through pledges by Green County piano students for performing at the Piano Play-A-Thon in December, when 135 students entertained shoppers at the Monroe ShopKo. The Play-A-Thon generated $2,800.
In addition to these donations, a portion of the funds will be used to support the 2016 ensemble recital that will be performed by Green County piano students in November.
