Varsity at the Sauk Prairie Invite, JV in Middleton
This past weekend the Raider wrestling team split. The JV wrestlers went to Middleton and the Varsity went to Sauk Prairie. Coach Swenson said, "Both tournaments showcased some great talent from teams around the state. The Sauk Prairie tournament is one of the states toughest tournaments featuring many ranked division 1 and 2 schools, including Sauk Prairie, River Valley, Menominee Falls, and Holman. To place in the top eight of this twenty team tournament means a lot. The following Raiders placed in the top eight: Justin Knoebl - 8th place, John Chenoweth - 4th place, Trent Siegenthaler - 5th place. Next up for the Raiders are two dual meets. The Raiders wrestle Brodhead/Juda on January 19th and Cambridge on January 21st. Both are at home at the Hageman Gym. Wrestling beings at 7:00 p.m. A win against Cambridge would mean a Conference Championship for the Raiders in the Capitol South. Come out and cheer on the Raiders."
