The first half of Monticello’s game at Argyle was a close one on Tuesday, January 5th. The boys went on an 8-0 run to close the half, with the last points coming from a 3-point shot by Braden Gafner with one second left on the clock. Monticello was ahead by 2 points at half-time, 26-24.

The second half saw the Comets go on an 18-4 run that put them ahead by 12, and the Ponies never recovered. The final score of the game was Argyle 55, Monticello 39.

Jon Errthum led the Ponies with 12 points and 13 rebounds. Zach Price contributed 10 points and Logan Marty had five rebounds.
