Students worked with seniors at the Senior Center icing and decorating more than 18 dozen Sugar Cookies.
The invitation to decorate holiday cookies at the Senior Center on Friday, December 11th, was an opportunity for many students in Mrs. Gartley's High School Family and Consumer Science courses to get involved.
Students enrolled in Prostart Culinary Arts I and Prostart Hospitality and Tourism worked together to develop skills in quantity food production (prepare, cut, bake, package) more than 18 dozen sugar and gingerbread cutouts and preparing three different icings so all participants could take a plate of decorated cookies home.
