Each year the New Glarus churches sponsor an annual Christmas Food Drive. The goal is to show families that might be having some unique circumstances love and support. Through generous donations from folks in our community, the surrounding area, local businesses and the Green County Salvation Army, we are able to provide many households with gift boxes of food for the holidays. These are gifts from the hearts of special people who wish to share the warmth of friendship with others.

If you would like to help make Christmas more special for some of these families, food items can be dropped off at any New Glarus Church, Roy’s Market, Anchor Bank and Union Bank and Trust from now until Monday, December 14th.

List of food items needed are: Pork and Beans, Spaghetti or Pasta, Macaroni & Cheese, Canned Meats, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Boxed meals, Boxed Potatoes, Pancake Mix, Pancake Syrup, Hamburger/Tuna Helpers, Peanut Butter, Pudding/Jell-O, Rice, Soup, Crackers, Cereal, Spaghetti Sauce.
