On Saturday, Oct. 24, the Monroe/New Glarus girls swim team competed in the 31st Hillmen Invitational at Platteville. The girls placed fifth overall with 271 points and missed tying for fourth place by only 1.5 points. Additionally, they earned 114 points more than they scored last year.

“This was not one of their best meets, and it never is because they are working extra hard at practice to be ready for conference and sectionals; they are always tired at this point in the season,” stated Head Coach Linda Moser.
