Palm-sized children books found in the museum include nature, Sunday School lessons and fairy tale genres.

Volunteers at the Chalet of the Golden Fleece Museum are ramping up their efforts to inventory the museum's entire collection. The tourist season comes to a close in mid-October, which means more free hours and more space to work.

Friends of the Chalet, a non-profit group, took on the task of updating the museum's catalog of 2,500 artifacts.

"I think we'll find way more," said Beth Komisarek, a museum professional and independent consultant, who was hired to implement the process, train volunteers and facilitate the project.
