At home against Juda on Tuesday, Sept. 29, the Monticello volleyball team was defeated, 26-28, 26-24, 23-25, 27-25, 14-16.

“This was a back and forth game all night as you can tell by the scores. Monticello is still improving every match,” said Head Coach Scott Smice.

Leading the way for the Ponies was Brie Graber with eight kills, Megan Lehr with seven kills, and Alayna Hummel with five kills. Brittany Disch contributed three blocks on defense. Jessie Garrison had two aces. Chandler Hansen tallied 29 digs while Marissa Peterson earned 15 digs.
