A special night for three of our youth flag football players - Junior Captains Randy Raven #20, Reece Raven #43, and Dawson Henry #16. In jerseys signed by the HS football team, these boys were a part of the coin toss with our Varsity Captains - Brad DeShon, Jesse McNamar, Nick Smith, and Cole Martin.
At home on Friday, the Belleville football team lost to Waterloo, 25-12.
"We struggled to shed blocks and tackle. We also had a hard time holding blocks up front," explained Head Coach Justin Blackburn. "We will work to fix those issues heading into our game this week against New Glarus-Monticello."
Dan Meier was 12 for 19 with 93 yards and one passing touchdown. Cole Martin had 14 carries for 79 yards and a touchdown while Brad Deshon had seven catches for 65 yards.
