A Salute to Vietnam Era Veterans

A tribute to all Vietnam era veterans is planned for Sunday, October 4, 2015, at the Monroe Senior High School, 1600 26th Street, Monroe.
This tribute will feature Army Photographer Pete Finnegan’s Exhibit “Good Soldier/Bad Soldier,” along with Author Steve Saunders, Vietnam Veteran JR Robertson, Clayton Ruegsegger of Green County Veterans Service and a Family Member Tribute by Kay Krebs.
Green County had seven men who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country during the Vietnam War: David W. Timm, Kris Blumer, Kenneth Keller, John Krebs Jr., Marvin Pederson, Ronald Schmid and Roger Ritschard.
The doors open at 12:00 p.m. for viewing the exhibits. The program will be at 1:30 p.m.
The public is welcome at this event – your presence at this event will help our community show the family members that their heroes have not been forgotten.
