On Saturday, September 12, the Monroe-New Glarus co-op girls swimming team placed fifth out of 13 teams at the Elkhorn Invitational with 217 points.

Junior Skylar Lassen, sophomore Madelyn Hammer, sophomore Grace Keith, and senior Abby Oudinot took fourth in the 200-meter medley relay with a time of 2:12.81. Another team, composed of sophomore Samantha Ellefson, freshman Emily Meritt, freshman Savannah Brandt, and senior Anna Meritt placed 11th in the same event.

In the 200-meter free, Lassen earned a seventh place finish at 2:23.70.
