On Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 4:49 p.m., the Green County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call of a vehicle vs. semi collision on STH 69 north of Hefty Road, Town of Washington.  Green County Sheriff’s Deputies, Green County EMS, Monticello Fire, Monticello Police, Wisconsin State Patrol Reconstruction Unit, and MedFlight were dispatched to the scene. Investigation revealed that Victor G. Ingalsbe, 47, Oklahoma City, OK, was traveling southbound on STH 69 operating a 2016 Semi and trailer.  A passenger in the semi unit was Norman L. Karraker, 53, Wichita Falls, TX.  Kenneth S. Stone, 54, Rockford, IL, was traveling northbound operating a 2009 Lexus SUV when he crossed the center line and struck the semi unit head-on. 

Both Ingalsbe and Karraker were treated for minor injuries and released.  Stone was extricated and pronounced dead at the scene by the Med Flight Doctor.

The Green County Coroner’s office assisted at the scene.  This is Green County’s fourth traffic fatality of 2015.
