Glarner Knights Victorious over Poynette

On Friday, Aug. 28, the New Glarus volleyball team was victorious over Poynette on the road, 3-0.
The Glarner Knights won their games 25-11, 25-13, and 25-22.
Julia Barnaby led the way with six kills, while Maddie Macht had five and Devon Boll four.
Alex Nealis had six aces, and Boll amassed three. Additionally, Nealis had 11 assists, and teammate Kati Way totaled four assists.
Vanessa Narveson earned 26 digs while Macht had 10.
In their second match that day, New Glarus won against Johnson Creek, 3-0, with game scores of 25-12, 25-5, and 25-22.
In game two, Boll went on a nine-point serving streak to help clutch the win; she had four kills, one block, and four aces.
Macht tallied 20 digs, eight kills, and one block while teammate McKinley Righter had four kills and three blocks.
Nealis struck six aces and had 11 assists, and Way had four assists.
Lydia Sprecher had one block, and Narveson earned 16 digs.
