As a native of the New Glarus area, Linda Schiesser remembers hearing the whistle echo through the village. The source of this signal was from the Pet Evaporated Milk Company. Recently her curiosity about this memory lead her to find out about the “what” “why” and “who” that gave New Glarus an identity. The talk will highlight some of the patrons, milk haulers, employees and administrative team that helped develop this company for 52 years in New Glarus.
