The Mount Horeb Area Historical Society (MHAHS) invites area families and children to their once-monthly “Historic Handicrafts” workshops, to be held at the Mount Horeb Area Museum located at 100 South Second Street in Mount Horeb.  These free sessions are held on the second Tuesday of each month and feature hands-on crafts with a historical twist.

The next Historic Handicraft will be held on Tuesday, August 11. Participants will make cardboard-box guitars, decorate them and practice strumming a few tunes on the rubber band strings.  Then tour the Museum to complete a scavenger hunt...
