Gretchen Colney Baker, former resident of New Glarus, was one of several people invited to share her life story with Hospice Austin and StoryCorp Legacy. Earlier this year, StoryCorp sent a team to travel to Hospice Austin to train volunteers to conduct and record the interviews of several patients, families and staff at Hospice Austin. Gretchen's life story has been recorded on a CD and will be preserved at the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress.
