Marilyn R. Argue

 

Marilyn Rae Argue, age 80 of Belleville, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on December 12, 1934, in the Town of New Glarus to her parents, Clarence and Louise Gust.

Marilyn graduated from high school in Mazomanie. On October 31, 1959, she was united in marriage to George Henry Argue at Jacksonville, NC. Marilyn was a proud Marine Corps wife, after she and George returned from service they ran the family farm. After moving off the farm in 1977, they built their dream home on the hill, and enjoyed traveling in their motorhome. Marilyn instilled in her children a passion for horses and the outdoors.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Mark (Nancy) Argue of Mount Horeb, WI, Dakota (Gwen) Windancer of North Ft. Myers, FL, George (Betty) Argue of Loxahatchee, FL, Linda (Steve) Peterson of Morganton, GA; step-children, Georgia Faye Golden, Gerald "Butch" Argue of Peoria, AZ; grandchildren, Joe, Jeremy (Stacy), Tyson (Tori), Mitchell (Ashley), Rachel (Michael), Mandy, Samantha, Alex (Danielle), Jordan (Monique), Tevin, Caelin, Ben, and Cody; great-grandchildren, Fionna, Graham, Eva, Kaiden, Riley, and Jayden; and cousin and best friend, Molly Freitag.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George H. Argue; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Russell and Jessiemae Hageman.

Relatives and friends called from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the Becker-Beal Funeral Home, 109 Greenway Cross, Belleville, WI.

Private family burial followed in the Montrose Pioneer Cemetery.
