Emily Koch, a member of the Monticello High School FCCLA chapter, received a gold placing at the national level of FCCLA STAR (Students Taking Action with Recognition) Events. This competition took place during the FCCLA National Leadership Conference held July 5-9, in Washington, D.C. Emily competed in the senior category of the Food Innovations Event. Over 4,000 FCCLA members competed at the national level of STAR Events.
